UW students show wide range of interests, talents

The UW–Madison students are remarkable in the wide range of their talents and interests. Here are just a few recent ones:

• Senior Sarah Almutawa was a finalist this year for a Rhodes Scholarship, one of the most prestigious and selective undergraduate academic honors in the world.
• Senior Anna Linberg, a senior majoring in personal finance, has been nominated to be NFL Fan of the Year thanks to her dedication to the Green Bay Packers.
• Emmett Lockwood is the first openly transgender athlete on the UW–Madison men’s water polo team.
