Registration open for Showcase

University departments seeking ways to improve their operations will come together at Showcase 2005.

The event, to be held from 7:30 a.m.-noon on Monday, April 4, at the Fluno Center, will recognize the ways in which people on campus have improved work, learning and climate.

Sponsored by the Office of Quality Improvement and the Office of Human Resource Development, the event is an annual venue for solving problems, finding better ways to communicate and sharing ideas and tools for improvement.

Organizers are encouraging those who have implemented improvement efforts to share their ideas in a poster exhibit at Showcase 2005. To propose ideas for posters, contact George Watson at 265-5122 or gwatson@wisc.edu.

A poster development workshop will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, at the Memorial Union.
