Public forum on reaccreditation

Interested citizens and members of the UW–Madison campus community are invited to comment on the university’s reaccreditation process during a public forum Tuesday (Dec. 8).

The forum is designed to elicit responses to the draft documents prepared for UW–Madison’s self-study as part of its 10-year reaccreditation by the North Central Association. The forum will run from 12-2 p.m. in Room 109, Union South, 227 N. Randall Ave.

The university is conducting an extensive self-study to review past progress and set future directions, as it did in 1988, the last time it was reaccredited. When completed, the self-study will be reviewed by NCA officials, who will conduct a comprehensive on-campus evaluation April 12-14, 1999.
