Roundtable to feature chancellor

The dates have been set for this semester’s University Roundtable.

This semester’s events include:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 15: Chancellor Carolyn “Biddy” Martin, “Meeting the Challenges and Opportunities Ahead.” This session, however, is sold out. The campus is invited to hear the chancellor at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Kohl Center as part of “On Wisconsin! A Great University and its Friends Welcome Chancellor Martin.”
  • Wednesday, Nov. 12: Ken Goldstein, Department of Political Science and director of the Wisconsin Advertising Project, “The 2008 Election is Now History. What Happened?”
  • Wednesday, Dec. 17: Redefined, “Songs of the Season (and Then Some).”

Buffet lunches begin at 11:45 a.m. in Tripp Commons at Memorial Union. The December lunch will be held in Memorial Union’s Great Hall. The cost is $10 per person or a three-person series price of $28 if paid in full by Wednesday, Oct. 8. Roundtable lunches are open to all members of the university community and their guests.
