Employee Benefits and Resources Fair set for Oct. 11

The annual Employee Benefits and Resources Fair will be held from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Memorial Union. The fair is sponsored by the Office of Human Resources and is open to all UW–Madison employees.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with benefits vendors, learn about important changes to the health plan in 2008 and speak directly with Tax-Sheltered Annuity vendors. Attendees will also have a chance to learn about resources available from campus departments and organizations.

There will be four presentations throughout the day that will address the topics of stress management, long-term care, exercise at work and retirement. Finally, there will be on-the-spot health assessments that include blood pressure screenings, waist assessments and the opportunity to wear DUI goggles to test reactions with an elevated blood alcohol level.
