Microsoft agreement details finalized

UW–Madison has entered into a new three-year Desktop Campus Agreement with Microsoft, effective Nov. 1.

The agreement permits the installation of the latest Enterprise versions of Microsoft Office and Windows, including the upcoming Vista releases, on departmentally owned computers through October 2009.

Media for installation of new versions of Office 2007 and Windows Vista will be available at the Division of Information Technology Tech Store within a few weeks of Microsoft’s release of those products. Home use of both Office and Windows for university work only is also part of the agreement.
