Final days for employee flu shots

November 15, 2006

The Safety Department will hold three final employee flu shot clinics scheduled on campus this week.

All faculty, academic and classified staff members are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity. The Safety Department has set a goal of immunizing 5,600 employees this year.

Clinics will be held:

  • Nov. 15, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.: Room 2158, Health Sciences Learning Center.
  • Nov. 16, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.: Lower Level Café, Agricultural Engineering.
  • Nov. 17, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.: Room 132, Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, 610 Walnut St.

For employees with Dean Care, Physicians Plus, Group Health Cooperative or Unity health insurance, flu shots are administered at no charge if you bring your insurance card with you to the clinic.

If you do not bring your insurance card with you, a fee of $28 for the flu shot will be required. If you pay for the shot on site, a receipt will be provided so you can obtain reimbursement from your health insurance provider. Please pay with cash or check.
