People who travel on the west side of campus are being asked to allow for extra travel time due to construction on the UW Hospital Parking Ramp (Lot 75).

Road work has already begun on Highland Avenue in front of the ramp with construction expected to conclude by early June. The project will also include work on the intersection of Highland Avenue and Observatory Drive. Traffic will continue to flow both northbound and southbound on Highland Avenue, but motorists should expect some delays and the need to use temporary pavement.

Beginning April 11, road work will reduce Observatory Drive between Highland Avenue and the entrance to Lot 85 at Cooper Hall to one-way, westbound traffic only. This portion of the project is expected to last through April. All motorists are reminded to be alert for bicyclists and pedestrians.
