Buildings affected by President Obama’s Library Mall event

State Historical Society of Wisconsin: The building will be closed to the public on Tuesday. Events have been canceled or relocated.

Memorial Union: The Union will be open, but accessible only through doors on Park Street or those facing Lake Mendota. Areas facing the event will be closed at noon.

Red Gym: Building will be closed to the public after 11 a.m. and to staff after noon. Events have been canceled or relocated.

Pyle Center: Building will be closed after 12:30 p.m. Events have been canceled or relocated.

Wisconsin Alumni Association: Building will be closed after 3 p.m.

Memorial Library: No entry from 4:30-8 p.m. Limited areas will be open.

University Club-432 East Campus Mall: Closed to the public on Tuesday. Academic areas close at 3 p.m.

Humanities: Classes, exams, discussion sessions and other normal meetings will be held as usual. The bridge, upper walkway and steps leading to Library Mall will all be closed. Some entrances near the Mall will be closed as well.

University Book Store: The book store will close at 3 p.m.

Subway: Subway restaurant will remain open during the event but will not have public restroom access.

St. Paul’s Catholic Center: 5 p.m. Mass has been cancelled.

Lowell Hall: Lower parking closed as of noon Tuesday.
