Caption: University of Wisconsin-Madison alumni Albert "Ab" Nicholas (left) and Nancy Johnson Nicholas have donated $8 million to the School of Human Ecology, from which Nancy graduated in 1955, as a lead gift for its building project. Ab Nicholas earned his UW-Madison bachelor's degree in business in 1952 and his MBA in 1955. The Nicholases have given generously to many programs on campus, including the School of Business and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Nicholas-Johnson Pavilion for basketball bears their family names.
