New students,
faculty, staff and the public
are cordially invited to hear
David Guterson, author of the bestsellers 'Snow Falling on Cedars' and 'East of the Mountains,' present the 2000 Chancellor’s Convocation Tuesday, September 5, at 7:00 p.m. in the Kohl Center. Guterson will speak on race, fairness, family, courage and the corridors of the human heart and will also provide a peek at how a novel “goes Hollywood.”

Book signing with Guterson and free Babcock ice cream for the first 2,000 audience members will follow the convocation.
