Treves, an animal behaviorist and ecologist, is an assistant professor in the
Nelson Institute of Environmental Studies. Together, the two are working closely
with Wisconsin's Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to address issues and
public policies related to management of the state's growing gray wolf population
and the challenges of people, and their livestock and pets, co-existing with
such preying wildlife.
