Web chat: For Fall 2014 Incoming New Students
Thursday, May 1, 2014, 5–6:00 p.m., CDT
UW–Madison’s Center for the First-Year Experience will host a live Web Chat for all Fall 2014 admitted freshmen and transfer students and their parents from 5–6:00 p.m. (CDT) on Thursday, May 1.
Staff from the Center for the First-Year Experience, University Housing, the Office of Student Financial Aid, the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, the Center for Leadership & Involvement, the Parent Program, and the campus advising community will be on hand to field questions about Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR); transfer credit; financial aid; living in Madison (both on-campus and off); academics and advising; getting involved on campus; maintaining health and wellness, and any other topics of interest.
You are encouraged to submit your own questions, or simply observe the chat. When you submit a question, please make sure to identify yourself as either a freshman or a transfer student so we can give you the correct information. If you can’t participate, an online transcript will be available on this page immediately following the chat.
